My business is going well. Why do I need a website ?
In the present world, customers expectations have gone up. They do not waste time, money and energy to get your price-list, catalogues, etc. to compare the price and quality. Instead, they check several websites over internet before buying.

Okay, even if I have a website, how do a new customer know about it ?
There are several Search Engines over the net, like Google.com, Yahoo.com, MSN.com, etc. Any new customer will ask these search engines what they are looking for. Search engines provide them a list within few minutes. Your website address too will be there, so the customer will contact you.

How to search for a product or service using a search engine ?
Go to the website address of a search engine. Say, www.google.com. You will find a box. Just type few keywords in the box. Keywords are words that describe the product or service you are looking for. Then click 'Search'. You will get a list of website addresses along with some details about it. Decide which website is suitable to your needs, and click over it. Voila ! You got it.

For example, if you are in Bangalore and looking for a travel agent in Chennai, the keywords you should type are something like : travels + chennai.

What is an E-mail ?
E-mail is an electronic mail that is delivered or received using internet. To send or receive an E-mail, you must have an E-mail client like Outlook Express, EudoraLite, PegasusMail and Netscape Communicator.

What is an E - mail Client ?
An E-mail client is the program that allows you to download your email from the server to your local computer. It also allows you to manage and store your downloaded mail, compose fresh emails, manage addess books etc.
